The old town of Saint Tropez has plenty of apartment rentals and they will come with a hefty price tag, particularly if you are looking for outside space and/or a sea view. Expect small, cosy spaces with plenty of charm. Other centres with apartment rentals include Saint Maxime, Port Grimaud, Cavalaire sur Mer and Royal Canadel sur Mer.
Charming B&B's in Saint-Tropez
Guest houses in Saint Tropez tend to be better value but of equal luxuriousness to some of the boutique hotels in the region. Fewer facilities and services allow for better pricing without scrimping on the quality of the bedrooms or public spaces. Some of these 'Maison d'hotes' offer dinner on request, others will just provide breakfast.
Villas in Saint-Tropez
Villas dot the landscape throughout the Gulf of Saint Tropez. The closer to the sea, the higher the price tag. There are some really stunning properties for those with deep pockets, and slightly more affordable options towards Sainte Maxime and Cavalaire sur Mer.

Styles range from ultra-modern to charming yet chic Provencal, with all the facilities you would expect. Those hotels on the outskirts and in the hills tend to offer free transfer services to the beaches and to Saint Tropez so you can enjoy best of both worlds.
Boutique hotels in Saint-Tropez
There is a small selection of boutique hotels, not as many as you might imagine. But what a selection! Most are converted mansion houses in the heart of the old town, with period features and gracious public spaces. Book in advance to secure a room!
Budget hotels in Saint-Tropez
There are plenty of more affordable hotels within Saint Tropez itself, some delightful 3 star options on the Place des Lices. They are expensive relative to other parts of France, but this IS St Tropez, and are comparatively well priced if you are set on staying in the town.
Pampelonne Beach also has some well priced holiday accommodation, ideal for families, as does the area around Port Grimaud where you will find Pierre & Vacances holiday villages that have great family facilities.
Camping in Saint-Tropez
Campsites are very popular with families in France, and Saint Tropez is no different. You won't find any camping close to the town of St Tropez, but close by at Pampelonne Beach, Port Grimaud, Gassin and towards La Croix Valmer, there is a good selection to choose from. Remember to book in advance if you are coming in July or August.
