Dutch team brands their supercars in colours of French police
Four friends from Holland who are in the middle of taking on a private rally called The Challenge 2016, have caused a bit of a fuss after branding their cars with French gendarmerie colours.
Holland's most notorious puzzle rally, The Challenge began in the city centre of Amsterdam, on Sunday 28th August. From there on teams have been arriving at a new destination each day. The finish will be on Friday 2nd September in Vienna.
One team in particular have been causing quite a stir as they have named themselves 'Team Gendarmerie de St Tropez', dressed in the traditional costumes of Louis de Funes and his gendarmerie colleagues and have even customised their Lamborghini Huracán and Ferrari 458 Speciale in the colours of the national gendarmerie. No doubt they are little faster than the old vehicles used by the gendarmes of Saint Tropez in the famous films.
